I decided to try a new Readwise reader application. I already use their application for highlights from books I read so when I found that they have a read-it-later application I had to try it.

The app is currently in beta and you can get a 30-day trial version regardless of whether you have used the Readwise app before. I posted screenshots from the iOS version but you can get the Android version as well.

Reader supports integration with Instapaper and Pocket. The articles you’ve uploaded to them will automatically sync when you link them. In addition to these applications, you can also integrate with Notion, Obsidian and others.

How do I use it? I have loaded all the pages I regularly read into RSS feeds so I have the latest stuff all in one place. If I find something I’m interested in, I send it to Reader. I do it this way because I usually scroll through the pages in the morning before work or during my lunch break, or a colleague at work might point out something interesting to me. This way I come back to the articles when I have time to read them in peace.

The reader also supports highlights and annotations. I haven’t had a chance to try these yet, but I’ll get to that soon.
